14: Brain Switch (BS) Inspector

14.1: Select "Tools/Brain Switch Inspector..."

If you need to draw some object in the Brain Note Window BS draw area, that appears after selecting the popup menu : CH 1 or other channel.

14.2: Checking Brain Waves, Making Notes, and Settting the Brain Switch

  • Select popup menu : CH 1 or other channel in the Brain Note Window.

  • This window is used to write text notes, include graphics, monitor incoming brain waves, and for setting the Brain Switch. If all device setups and connections are correct, than the simple 2D spectrum bar graph will display.

  • Keeping the "Brain Note Window" open makes the performance speed slow down for all other Graph, AV, and 3D Animation windows.

  • If you need to leave the Brain Note Window open, after setting up the BS in the "Brain Note" window, selecting the popup menu to go back to "Note" is a good way to keep the speed good for the other windows.

  • In the "Brain Note", checking On will show the "Show Frequency Time" which shows a "Frequency Time" graphic. This graph setup for the Frequency Time BS (is not yet implemented)

14.2: How to See the Brain Switch

  • Select and/or draw a square and/or circle object in the red area. This graphic is calledthe BS object, max 8 object can draw in this area
  • Selecting the Tools Menu -> Brain Switch Inspectorshows and can arrange the object's color, size, physical position, SW power, or coherence (low & high). and frequency (low & high).
  • When the Brain SW Mode is on, peak data appears in the BS graph object.
  • Target Brain channel: 1 to 4 channel brain input and it's coherence.
  • Brain SW channel: 1 to 8 channels for each brain target channel.
  • Click : Set Brain SWto make the Brain Switch active.
  • max. 3 X 8 = 24 different brain SW setups if using the 2 CH and coherence IBVA system.
  • max. 8 X 8 = 64 different brain SW setups if using the 4 CH IBVA system.
  • This setup will show the BrainVJ menu: -> BS Mixer Setup.

14.3: When Drawing BS in the Brain Note, Check the BS with Brain Switch Inspector

  • Select the BS object, and then open the "Brain Switch Inspector" and/or
    Select the BS object in the "Brain Note" Window.
  • Currently BS 1 is selected in the "Brain Note" window.
  • This BS 1 setup attribute is : Low frequency : 8.19 Hz, High frequency : 11.38, Low power : 1.26 µV, High power : 10.27 µV.
