Doug was love.  Among the many things that can be said of, and remembered about him, it is the loving and the giving that I wish to keep alive in my heart as his legacy.

Unconditional love is what I recieved from him, always. He could lift my spirit through the force of his will so that the light would shine upon it time and time again. 

I will miss him beyond anything word can express.  And while he has transcended this plane, I will be looking for him everyday. Doug Hurr introduced me to Doug in Houston in 1973.    After loosing touch for a few years, we re-connected and remained fast friends until this present moment.

These e-mails have been a wonderful way to remember him and share him.
