The closing of a "Killers of Eden" card/pack Doug just sent to Merrie and me on June 11th was "Think & Swim."

This was so Doug, it IS so DOUG.
Always thinking, always swimming hard.
Always communicating.

He is speaking to us now and bringing these, his fantastic friends together.

We met Doug in DC in '95 after hearing of him for years in New York. Like the sound wave before a jet. Doug was in motion and a joy to be around. He graced us with his intelligence, vision, wit and energy. He spoke of a longing to build during our years in DC, but really, He was about ideas, people and fearsome chrome.

He was always looking forward and was FUTUREMAN in our frequent e-correspondence. Plans for meeting soon now mercilessly snatched away are supplanted by Memories of images, words and vibrant laughter.

Doug, I'd like to think you dove and are swimming still, sleek and elliptical.

You were loved and respected and now unbelievably missed.
